Fingal

Fingal is a rural town in the verdant Fingal Valley.

A visit to Fingal should include:
The local churches
The remains of the original convict station

As you drive down the main street of Fingal your attention will be caught by the facades of the impressive 19th Century buildings, including the Town Hall (formerly the Council Chambers) and the Fingal Hotel. On the opposite sides of the street is the old bakery building and post office, as well as the Old Tasmanian Hotel Building which was constructed of stone removed from the old prison barracks.

Town information: Fingal is a small rural town with an average maximum temperature of 23 during the summer months and 13 during the winter months.
