Mt William National Park on Tasmania's East Coast is renowned for its wildlife and coastal heathland. There are beaches to walk along as well as a walk to the top of Mt William, which has a great view. |

A drive along Forester Kangaroo Drive at the north end of the park in the early morning or late afternoon gives the best opportunity for viewing local wildlife.
Be aware - the road is unsealed.

Some of the wildlife that can be seen in Mt William National Park are Forester Kangaroos, which can only be found in the northeast and north of the state. They are the only kangaroos in Tasmania. |

Also on Forester Kangaroo Drive is a viewing point looking north over Musselroe bay, where it is possible on a good day to see as far as Flinders Island. |

There are camping areas available at the northern and southern ends of the park. 4 camping areas at Stumpys Bay (north), 1 at Top Camp (north) and 1 at Deep Creek (south) near Eddystone Point. |
