National Parks

 Tasmania has an abundance of parks and reserves managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service, a unit of the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment. Tasmania's East Coast contains four National Parks.

Mt William National Park   Mt William National Park is renowned for its abundance of wildlife and beautiful long beaches.
Douglas Apsley National Park   Douglas Apsley National Park is a contains a rich diversity of dry sclerophyll forest surrounding lovely river gorges and waterfalls.
Freycinet National Park   Freycinet National Park consists of rugged granite mountains sandwiched between crystal blue water and white sand beaches.  

Maria Island National Park

  Maria Island has something for everyone - from convict ruins to abundant wildlife and natural attractions.
