St Helens is just 10 minutes drive from the southern end of the famous Bay of Fires, a popular holiday destination on Tasmania's East Coast.  Heading South you will find the stunning Peron Dunes, the start of a long sweep of white beaches which meet the vast ocean. The beaches and Georges Bay are excellent spots for fishing with a wide variety of fish waiting to be caught. Binalong Bay and Georges Bay are also popular with divers, with kelp forests full of marine life waiting to be discovered.
